season outlook

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

pretty quiet here so I thought I might stir some discussion, who knows what the season may look like (if at all) but one thing is certain a quick look at the roster and you will see that we will be a pretty young squad, good thing a lot of FR got minutes last year

Caption Obvious observation :D
An O that can score.
QB
Beesmer and Shoup. Beesmer showed flashes. Staff waited too long to use him. Wilkinson a wild card.
RB TE and WR are deep and good.
OL gets Rosen back which is a huge plus. Lots of experience. Expect better coaching will help here. I hope

D has talent and experience at every level. Norris and Kircher back from injury a bonus.
Frosh will get an extended training camp. Very strong class. D particularly.
Once Semester starts we should learn if any are taking a gap year or if any Frosh are delaying entrance.

Anyone know if the entire team will be on campus in fall, or just freshmen?

Will they be able to do any football stuff?

We seem to be out of place. :D
What the hell.
From what I can glean from various sources a lot of the upperclassmen are back or coming back to the LV. Quite a number of players have gotten aptments in town. While sophs cant usually live off campus, some are taking advantage of the current plans to do so. Athletes are allowed to practice, albeit it limited, during tha semester.

Maybe practicing with the football players could yield a walk on or two to beef up the roster -- and vice versa. :D

I'm with Rich on this one. We should probably use the football team on D. :D

not quite so caustic, but the team will be very young and unless some of the young guys surprise, it will be a tough year
