His uncle was a guard for Bucknell circa 1990. Played one year in the PL.

And his Dad played briefly for LU after transferring in from Navy.

He went to Iowa on an unofficial visit. Sounded more like a courtesy since his father knew McCaffrey, when he was at Lehigh and recruited him. Not so sure they were that interested in him. Also took an unofficial to LSU. But, long list of offers, so decent catch. Seems like a bright kid, and academics are a priority. Apparently, he can really stroke it from the perimeter, and has a long pedigree of basketball talent in his family, Opened some eyes on the AAU circuit, which is a good sign, as it doesn't sound like he sees great high school competition in suburban Pittsburgh.

There is a ton of video out there on Reed Fenton, primarily on the maxpreps site. Several games, and some compilation videos. I am pretty happy with what I see on there. He can score at all 3 levels, solid handle, and looks like he can play 1 or 2. Primarily a wing, and has a nice stroke, both on the pull up and from distance. Willing defender. He has pretty good athleticism, and appears to jump well, and quick off the floor. What I really like is his explosion and elevation off of the floor on his jumper. He really gets up off the floor and has a pretty high release, allowing him to get it off over players in traffic. Reminds me slightly of a bigger Corey Schaefer, but more of a scorer. Looks like a solid PL wing. In the video I see, he is mostly playing against very small teams. At 6'3" or 6'4", he is bigger than some whole teams. Hopefully, he can produce against the higher talent level he will see in college.

My last question on this thread: Are we done with 2019?

Doubt it. We have a spot left, expect the staff to go all out for a PF. We have outstanding offers to 4 after others have committed elsewhere.
