For the third time in the last four years, the Lehigh men's basketball team has finished atop the Patriot League poll, as announced on Wednesday. In addition, senior Lance Tejada was named to the preseason All-League team. Lehigh finished first in the poll with 145 points, five points ahead of Bucknell in second. Each of the last two times the Mountain Hawks were picked first, they advanced to the Patriot League Championship Game in both 2016 and 2017.

As for the Conference, he ranks the PL 23rd strongest of the 32 D-1 programs.
