Miami 83. Lehigh 62

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

We gave them a game. Came within 6 in the 2nd half. Lynch is the real deal. Wow.

No didnt see that. Saw nerves. Over amped. Couldnt hit foul shots or much of anything.. Once they calmed down they played good D and focused for a good part of the 2nd. Good experience for them. Think it will bring home the real cost of lapses of focus or intensity. Much better than one of Doc's lectures.

I saw what Van and RichH saw.

If Tejada could be consistent, he'd be the real deal. Reminds me of Price -- too many forced shots and inconsistencies. Too many forced shots later in game by everyone.

Andree should have had more shots; was hot early in second half when team looked unstoppable.

Too many fouls.

Lynch didn't have the shooting touch, but he is the real deal. Solid defender! Double-double, I think.

These guys have HUGE upside.

Good game to get under their belts.

I expected to be dominated on the boards. That did not happen and bodes well for the rest of the year. Most disappointing though was foul shooting. Miami defended us well when we were at the free throw line as well as from the field. 18 turnovers, many avoidable, didn't help either. If we make free throws and hit any kind of average from the field we are in this.

That said, Miami was very quick on defense which contributed to the bad shooting night. But we didn't get out muscled. They just played better.
