He played the first four games of the year for Kolossos - averaging 18.5 mpg, 4 ppg, and 3 rpg off the bench. Then apparently got hurt, since he is still rostered but has not dressed for a game since then. Kolossos is 2-8 for the season.

Re: Game 12/1: Lafayette
not saying the team played bad, but the 11 first half turnovers put them in a hole and they were a bit fortunate to shoot their way out of it, not gonna win many if you turn it over 11 times per half, second half ball security was much betterTMH wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 10:05 pm I'm not sure how anyone can say that Lehigh played a bad game. We shot 58% from the field, 79% from outside and 95% from the FT line. Pat Andree was a monster.
To me the difference was perimeter defense. Lafayette elected to play their man tight on the perimeter and force Lehigh to take contested 2 pt shots. On the other side, rapid ball movement by Lafayette and a much looser man coverage allowed Lafayette to take open 3 point shots. There were several points in the game where Lehigh had more baskets but Lafayette had more points. The PL is all about the perimeter. In order to succeed, we need to play with the same defensive intensity as we did last February.
For the record though, I pretty much agree with the Lafayette fans. Their team played a whale of a game and the referees may have decided the game. Lehigh made 17 of 18 FT in the second half alone (crunch time). Lafayette only shot 8 making 7.

Tim is doing well. Chatted with him two days ago. He’s home for the holidays. Not sure if he is still hurt or what the injury is
Re: Game 12/1: Lafayette
Thanks all for the great recaps! Look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
Last minute “Lane Violation” penalty against Lafayette spoiled what was an insanely fun game for the casual fan as well as the readers of this Board, too. Mark your calendar for the rematch in Easton on Wed., January 30. It should be fun. Back to this game, LU fans consider: 9 players played / 9 players scored with 8 grabbing one or more rebounds. Best of all, we got valuable contributions from underclassmen who many of us had our eyes on who showed their worth with timely baskets and boards. I speak, of course, of CB, MW and JW who together went 7 for 11 and scored 20 points and pulled down more than one crucial rebound and earned the praise of Coach Reed. Speaking of the Coach, let’s hear it for his mid-course correction the second half to sit our 5’s when it wasn’t working and insert JW – a guy I would I content continues to show poise beyond his years and while the numbers (6 pts/3 boards) weren’t large, they came for the most part as the team struggled but eventually took the lead. And, he’s a freshman! Ya gotta love it.

could not agree more about JW, does not look like a FR, earns more minutes in my opinion

I was sitting with my wife and granddaughter and I said--"that Lafayette guard has both feet on the 3-point line. I wonder if the refs will have the nerve to call the violation?"
The call is automatic if the ref sees it--there is no discretion involved. So the call didn't spoil the game, at least for me. Not calling it would have been arbitrary and discretionary.
