[LehighSports] The Rivalry renews on the hardwood as Lehigh hosts Lafayette in league opener Wednesday night

Coming off its best nonleague season since 2012-13, the Lehigh men's basketball team is set to open the Patriot League schedule, and the 2019 calendar year, on Wednesday when it hosts archrival Lafayette. Wednesday's game is presented by Northampton and Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol Administrations with the Center for Humanisitic Change. Opening tipoff in Stabler Arena is set for 7 p.m. Lehigh's 7-4 nonleague record is its best since 2012-13 when it finished 10-3, one year before going 7-6 in 2013-14. The Mountain Hawks' only losses this season have come to three power-conference opponents (Miami, Kansas State and West Virginia) along with Ivy League power Yale.
