Cool. Too bad an L today vs Ball St. 54-52. Fell behind by 7 in the 1st quarter . Out did Ball St for the rest of the game but just not by enough. No stats yet but pretty sure Gina had a double double.

Lehigh had their opportunities late in the game but could never get it done. Lack of outside shooting may be our Achilles heel.
Although we lost this game, that poll did not include our win over a very good Seton Hall team, whose only other loss was by 2 points to Princeton.

Stats are up. Very unusual. Definitely confused about players et al
Benz played 6 mins ? Buhr for 3. Grothaus 3 minsWalker and Hedstrom had 20+ mins. The rest of the game minutes were bench players.
Gina didnt start but according to box she not Benz got the double double with 20 pts and 10 rebounds. Eripret Rice and Sexe got the bulk of the playing time. Even so down 2 with 2+ secs left Steele hit both for the tie. Ball St scored on last second shot.
We have virtually no outside shooting. 3pt scoring nil.
Another troubling fact is we had only 4 assists. A trend so far this year. Part of that tho may be our poor shooting.
Fordham up next on Saturday.
Hopefully Lehighsports recap will clarify the stats

I think those stats may be incorrect.
I only got home for the lat 8 minutes or so but I'm pretty sure Benz had 17 points then and she played during that entire span. Steele was at the point for much of crunch time and Grothaus was taking GG minutes.
Steele did have 3 of our 3 pointers. I saw Buhr with a TO late, none of which shows up on the stat sheets.

Hopefully this will get revised at some time.

Box is now up on site. Correct stats now. Box still show really bad shooting. Buhr had a very poor game shooting. Grundhoffer still in a slump. Saw a clip of Ball Sts winning shot. Looked like thevgirl walked. More importantly the clock is at zero before she shot.smh

Patriot League women's basketball is looking strong this year. Looking at the Massey ranking, the league currently ranks 18th, which is about as high as it has ever been. This is where PL teams currently rank:

110 Bucknell
111 Lehigh
138 American Univ
149 Colgate
155 Holy Cross
169 Boston Univ
213 Navy
249 Lafayette
277 Army
286 Loyola MD

Thus far Holy Cross has a win over BC, Lehigh has a win over Seton Hall, Bucknell has a win over Cincinnati, American has a win over Villanova, and Navy has a win over Clemson, among others.

In B-Ball, does Mid Major mean everyone except the P6 teams (F-ball P5 plus Big East)?

It means whatever a given person wants it to mean. And the women's categorizations tend to follow the men's. In some cases, it means all but the P6 (or all but the P6 and the AAC). For others, it means the conferences that don't spend a fortune on basketball. If you look at the conference rankings for basketball in recent years, plus how much is spent on basketball, you can make a good case that the A10, the MAC, the MWC, and the top half of the WCC (Gonzaga, St. Mary's, etc) are not mid-majors.
