Bucknell

Ugh. Bucknell 67-56. Team hustled and tried perhaps too hard. Lost every period but the 4th. Got that one by 2. The infamous late Lehigh surge that comes too late and too little. This squad is still lost. Staff hasnt been able to right the ship. Since mid January we have gone 0-4, 2-0, 0-1, 1-0, 0-2. Now at 16-10.
Havent seen box yet but safe to say we cant shoot. Dont
seem to have anyone who can score off the dribble either.

Bison are a good team that shoots better than we do. If Buhr gets shut down we struggle to score. Percentages werent terrible today but Bucknell's were better.
Think GG's absence this year has hurt us. Chemistry just seem off.Too many empty possessions.
Somehow this squad has to find a footing going into the playoffs. We play together up to our talent we can get the title. :D

yeah, individually I see talent across the board and depth, pieces just don't seem to mesh together so that the whole is stronger than the parts

I know that you guys are die-hard LU fans and unconditional supporters of the WBB program but please, hear me out.
0-6 last year vs top teams. 1-7 so far this year and they still have to play 2 of them one more time. When you have the best and most complementary roster in the League (not the best players, but the best roster), when you were picked to finish first in the league by your peers and still, you’re unable to use and optimize your players’ abilities, you should draw conclusions yourself. GR’s defensive schemes have been ineffective and a disruption for the cohesiveness of the team. ST’s lack of innovative strategy and her inability to realize potential in the players has been detrimental to the program for years. Their incoherent rotations show how much they over/under value some of their players. There aren’t any coherent substitutions that’d wear down the opponent and/or no use of the full court zone press that has been working every time they used it. Lehigh has the worst and most dysfunctional duo of coaches in the entire Patriot League and it’s now blatantly showing after many years. They have been trying to impose their own style and vision instead of building something around what their players can bring to the program. They live by the three and die by the three simply because they don’t have anything else to offer (10 players above 6'0" and no inside game). That’s the price of risk. An unexpected individual performance by any player cannot save them every time. This program has never had any player development that would allow the team to improve. Players have the same set of skills they had at the end of their high school careers. They’re just physically stronger. There’s also no culture of winning because coaches have never been under pressure to win. And as mentioned above, while I’m convinced they have the best roster in the league, they only have one real and consistent offensive threat and other coaches figured that out long ago. The process has failed, the 2020 class is about to graduate; maybe it’s time for head coaches to do the same and let someone else take over with a new approach and a winning attitude.
