Senior Day

Post by Hawktalker » Sun Mar 01, 2020 8:35 pm

Lehigh closed out its home schedule with one of its most dominating wins of the year. They put it to an undermanned Loyola team 82-64. The surprise leading scorer was senior Paige Galiani who celebrated Senior Day, and her first career start, with an 18 point performance.

The win secures a spot in the PL tournament quarterfinals. Not the lofty seeding the preseason poll predicted but maybe they can make some noise in the tournament and send the five seniors out on a high note

I don't think PG was a surprise. Everybody knows she's a great spot-up shooter. I guess it does not matter when you're a walk-on. Tired of hearing: «she's just always a player that puts the team in front of her, has never questioned me about her role (..)» about players that has been ignored and benched most of their careers.
