81--65. Over 40% from 3. Ella's out of her slump. Albrecht and Behar started tonite instead of the transfers. Hit 50% of their shots. Lots of assists ,few TOs.

Nice to see the women get out of their funk. Still waiting on the men. Interesting 4 of the 5 ESPN+ "prognosticators" are predicting Lehigh to win the PL...

1. I think both of the transfers were not available to play tonight, so it may not be clear whether Albrecht and Behar simply started because the two regulars weren't suited up.

2. Navy is the PL's worst team and ranks 343rd in the nation. Has a 3-11 record vs D1 teams. So it's hard to draw many conclusions from playing them. LU was a 16-point favorite in this game. Navy btw may be good in two years, as Tim Taylor is doing well on the recruiting trail - but they are not good now.

3. Navy is one of the five worst teams in D1 in defending the three, letting opponents hit 40% of their attempts from beyond the arc. They are also bad defending the twos. So it's hard to judge how well LU shot the ball.

Just a few observations:

There were four girls out yesterday. McQuillen, Sisselman, Van Epps and Ouimette. A couple of coaches appeared under the weather too. There is obviously an illness making it's way through the team.

With that being said, Addie was forced to start Behar and Albrecht who have been two of the most efficient players on the team all year. There is some real quality depth there. Micir need to find the right combinations to exploit it.

Watching Navy was intriguing to me. They appear to have no real 3 point shooters. They also weren't great under the basket but they were quite good shooting pull up jumpers from 6-10 feet. That's an area of the court we appear to be unfamiliar with.

We are getting better at passing to cutters for easy layup but it is also an area which many of our turnovers...still a work in process.

Anyway it was a nice convincing win over a bad team and I'll take it.
