Re: 2020-21 Season Thoughts
That was before the current surge so let's hope it doesn't change.
Also, not sure if definitive but Emmert has said a school can't have sports unless the whole student body can opt to be on campus. They can opt to remote but they have to have the option.

Tuition is set to increase by $2,190, leaving the total cost of attending Lehigh as an undergraduate at approximately $72,440 this academic year.
And the last admissions cycle also proved to be challenging for Lehigh. The university saw more than 3,000 fewer applicants for the class of 2024 compared to the class of 2023, even while the university attempts to grow its student body under the Path to Prominence.

Lehigh MUST get a handle on tuition costs or face becoming priced out of existence by it's own hand.

Administrative costs are killing them. Could easily cut 30% of the admin staff. You'd hear all sorts of crying and screaming but they wouldn't miss a beat.

By the way Happy 4TH to you all.
Whoa!
THAT'S expensive!
Could it be that, a LEHIGH degree is as expensive, if not more so than some IVY League degrees?
(Sorry, I didn't look it up.)

The numbers no longer add up. I figure the cost of my undergraduate degree was around $17K, $18K tops. I had an $800 (that's the correct number of zeroes) grant the first couple of years while my sister was still in school. When I graduated I landed a job that paid $13,500 a year and expected 10% raises each year.
Now the cost of an undergraduate degree is going to exceed $300K, I still see outfits looking to pay engineers $60K, and you're lucky if you get a 3% raise each year. Even with a Good Job, a graduate can never expect to pay off loans.

My grandson who wants to study engineering narrowed it down to Lehigh and Villanova. He chose Nova.
