You guys raise some good points about marketing.
The perception I get an hear from youngsters if they attend wrestling matches is the place is loaded with old farts (some of us included) and few young folks.
Like attendance at football games, this does not bode well for the future.

Tired theme that's been playing for the last 30 years. Now students are only interested in looking at their phones, taking pictures and posting on Instagram. Fruitless trying to get them to attend anything let alone a wrestling match.

Yes, getting today's youth to engage without a screen is pathetic. If they could figure out how to install a video board in Grace where the students could interact in games/contests/ etc. between bouts, plus music,it might be more 'entertaining' for their attention. Sad state of affairs nationwide in all sports.

My daughter (a junior at Lehigh) and some of her friends are going to the wrestle-offs tonight so there will be some younguns (though not a whole lot).

mookie I agree with you, you need to build support for the team thru streaming and other online video production in an attempt to draw the young fan into going to an actual event..... if done right it may work..... and don't even get me started about the scouting fantasy as an excuse.......

and low and behold, I check facebook and the bouts were all streamed there with Loman and Gimp doing play by play, sort of
