Phew!

My biggest beef with scholastic wrestling. Kids are killing their bodies with so many matches. The body can only take so much abuse and mental/emotional burnout increases.

For those wondering about Lawrence

"Lawrence was injured at the Ironman tournament and then missed his team’s dual against Elizabeth Forward. Lawrence, who committed to Lehigh, is a two-time PIAA champion. In previous seasons, Lawrence has dealt with a shoulder injury."

Thayer Lawrence has a comparatively moderate tournament (Tri-State Tourney-23 teams last year) Jan 10-11, Jam 18-19 is Escape The Rock, Maybe the second strongest tourney in the state (after powerade). Looking at last year, he lost 3-2 to Frinzi at ETR. I remember watching the bout and thought he outwrestled Luca except the last 10 seconds.

Per ngineer talking about the craziness of HS schedules, look at Fraziers schedule. They only have 10 other guys, and only a couple are decent, Yet there schedule includes an almost 4 week gap, because everyone schedules as if they are going to district and state duals. They are not going to district duals. Still they schedule their 22 comps in less than 7 weeks. 4 major individual tournaments, a dual meet tourney, and 6 duals squeezed together,

To me, teams should only use 18-20 comps before district duals. If they don't go to D-duals, schedule 1 or 2 events that week and 1 or 2 the next week. if they make District duals but don't make states, 1 or 2 that second week.

Flo to me has been by far the most accurate High School ranking service the last 5 or 6 years, will be interesting to see if they stay that way now that Willie Saylor is gone, seemed to me Saylor lived and breathed high school wrestling and his vast knowledge of the high school level scene made his rankings very accurate......

I miss his rankings and knowledge on Flo, but don't want to pay for two wrestling services......Since Rofkin has little to no video and not much else to offer that I'm interested in going to stick with Flo for now......

Any gossip on Lehigh’s chances with local studs; Ryan Crookham being an example?

Shouldn't this be under 2022 recruiting. Starting the day after 2021 recruits are officially announced.

Actually when Jordan Wood made state finals against Haines freshman year, I seem to recall Garry P assured me he was coming to Lehigh.
