Drew Munch won the 132 # bracket at that same tournament.
How did Bryant qualify for the PA Independent school championship?

I happened to be talking to IV's coach (he's the head of the Prep board) and he sent me that photo to show the Lehigh shirt.

Western Reserve Academy is in that zone- only Ohio Prep team that comes. I believe WVa is also in the zone theoretically.

Can Barnabee still qualify for national Preps after Reportedly missing Maryland Preps??

PIAA AAA DIST 3 is synonymous with South Central AAA Regional. Same with District 1 AAA = SE REgional and Dist 7 AAA = SouthWest REgional (= WPIAL AAA), So Moore is apparently seeded #2 in SC regional, Actually they nay have gotten rid of seeding

I see the MIAA tournament was Feb 7-8 and the Md Independent States was Feb 14-15 and NAtional Preps Feb 21-22. But most Maryland Public School States is the same weekend as PIAA Mar 5-7

The National Preps have a lot of very good wrestlers and a healthy number of great wrestlers. No doubt. However, unlike a tough state like NJ or PA, the quality drops off fast. There are so many under 1 minute falls it's ridiculous. You don't see that in state championships where there is a meaningful qualification process. So when you see a guy pinning 3 guys prior to the semis, it's like 'so what?' Another indicator is having 2 teams dominate. In many ways wining the National Preps is like a state championship and in some ways it's not. Just not enough depth beyond the top 2 teams and maybe 4-5 others. Not sure what my point is......saw many falls in the early rounds under :30. Very uncommon in most state tournaments.

They seed 12 per weight, and from what I see the 8-9 thru 5-12 bouts are the only ones maybe competitive in the first two rounds, Of course all our guys seeded in the top three, so,

Tonight is of course where the Prep guys and PIAA might get their first real post season composition

Preps isn't quite as bad as say So Carol or Bama where there was, for years, one decent program, and no one else could beat the 400th best team in Pa

I see TJ Moore faces two 10 loss guys, then tomorrow a rare Central Dauphin very good guy over 185 (220) then the even more rare Very good (undefeated) kid from York Vo-tech. YVT is as obscure a program as Cedar Crest, For a long time D3, but not York County fan like me, there is only one name, Mark Banks from well over 40 years ago.

Actuall, I won't see as for the first time in almost 20 years D3 AA+AAA are not in a big Hershey Arena, 2 HSs 40 miles apart, Spring Grove, and EIWA official's Dr Jesse Rawls Jr, Central Dauphin East
