I had kind of Assumed Kilrain was an underclassmen, because no one said different.

about 30 years ago the football team had two kids who had played for the American school of Belgium, I think one was a fairly regular running back (named Sexton?)

I had definitely noticed the name Karam in D11 NE REg

Guess I thought wrong

Not sure that it's possible to embed a tweet on this forum but Mason Beckman had some interesting thoughts on the Thayne Lawrence match. See https://twitter.com/beck_diggity
High quality human being. Kid does absolutely everything right and is mature beyond his years.
Proud of this dude. Takes a massive amount of character to handle that situation as well as Thayne did. Special kid and HS career. Incredibly excited to see him in a Lehigh singlet
The official that just did that Lawrence/Cerniglia bout should be banned from the sport. Worst officiated match I have ever seen. Those two kids wrestled their hearts out and that ref completely botched it. SHAME.

Lawrence's loss to a state champion from last year in his quest for a third state championship was controversial. Many of those in attendance booed the winner and cheered Lawrence because they thought the ref screwed him.

I just watched all of Seymour's bouts. In the first he looked like he was up a weight class. In his last 3 he looks like he was up two classes. Another Four years at the lowest Weight, like Bobby Weaver, Darian Cruz, and Troy Minarovic.

Watched the Lawrence bout live on Flo during the EIWA 165 placement bouts. Lawrence totally got screwed; Cerniglia dominated the first period, but then all Lawrence - no takedown called at end of 2nd period, ref called stalemate while he was cradling Cerniglia, no stall calls on Cerniglia. Navy getting a good one with Cerniglia, but I think Lawrence has more upside.

Got a chance to talk to Manzona Bryant’s mom with a couple of others at the end of EIWAs. Sounds like he was doing the paperwork for Army WP when he got the call from LU. She wasn’t totally convinced about LU, but after seeing the campus this week, getting to meet the coaches and team, and then experiencing the excitement of tournament, support for our wrestlers, and seeing results, she was convinced Manzona made the right decision.
