Actually when Jordan Wood made state finals against Haines freshman year, I seem to recall Garry P assured me he was coming to Lehigh.
And he still came?!

Crookham would be a great catch to keep him local like we did with Darian Cruz. He had a rough time the other night bumping up a weight against Bethlehem Catholic getting ridden the entire 3rd period.

What is the story with McConagle and Hines not wrestling in Scuffle etc. Are they injured

McConagle is our next Humphries that should do well as a frosh next year and is basically our #1 recruit from the incoming class with Logan #2. Nice to see Logan place at Scuffle and compete favorably. Was looking for McConagle to do the same.

Well they better change their current strategy of not offering 100% if they plan to get Crookham

I think that recruiting philosophy that Old Man speaks to has been changed over the couple years. Agree that Crookham will be a national recruit that will take a full ride to secure for the Engineers!! We like local kids and multiple state champ material.

Connor Herceg has had a really good last two weeks. He began by beating Dominic Falcone (Easton)who was District and Regional champ last year and PA 8th not once but twice. He then went 5-0 at the Virginia Duals while avenging one of his two losses this season beating VA champ Jaden Bullock who was the Ironman 2nd. His only other loss was to BOE champ Connor O'Neill.

Is Herceg the kind of guy we might not have been able to attract if we'd given full rides to other recruits and there was nothing left for partial grants?

I have no idea what kind of financial aid package Herceg is getting but someday someone should explain to me how we and a lot of other schools maintain a 40 man wrestling room on 9.9 wrestling scholarships.

Cant Santoro mix and match with the need aid available to all Lehigh students.
