Conel was ranked something like 3rd at the beginning of the season. He's the transfer who got a 6th (and 7th?) year from the NCAA.

285 | #10 Jordan Wood vs. #1 Anthony Cassar

Cassar with a late 1st period TD leads 2-0 after one. He takes bottom.

Wood down 3-0 after two. He takes bottom. RT at 3 seconds for Cassar.

9-4 Cassar... inhuman results... Jordan really tried, and it wasn't enough.

Final team score 23-10 nits.

I need to move to Charlottesville to get the stream to come in.
C'Ville is a good move, with or without wrestling.

Probably a coincidence re Chrome. It came in fine later on Chrome.

Good effort by most of the Lehigh wrestlers. I didn't think an upset was in the cards, especially with Berge back.

Final score: 23-10 Penn State

The team put in a great effort tonight. After no offensive points last year, seven different Hawks had takedowns tonight -- the same as Penn State. All three #1-ranked Nits were taken down. Kutler took Hall down for the first time; Wood took Cassar down for the first time. I thought Lane and Meyer wrestled great matches against highly-ranked opponents. Hoffman beat a guy who beat him twice last year. Not a win, but there was a lot to like in tonight's match.

I use Chrome in North Carolina. I had no problems.
Cael won at 157 with Berge and pulling Redshirt at 184.

I was on chrome and got some pre match coverage which repeated twice and then started with Lobeck's bout. I watched that and then somehow it went back to the start of the match and I got to see Pretzel and Lane and all the rest straight through.

Very good showing by the team winning three bouts after PSU pulled out all the stops. Did about as well as ASU did when they won, all things considered.

Agree with the assessment above about major improvement from last year. Hall & Cassar are in another league from Kutler & Wood & everyone else.

Good experience for Meyer & Lane to build upon. Worried about Humphreys self confidence at this point after 3 losses in a row which he has likely never experienced.
