Burkhart got a late danger TD, then 2 NF out of it. Almost looked like he was not sure he won.

Just a bout in consis that we'll soon forget, but a great effort by Burkhart to earn another bout. Trailing 2-0 and on the wrong side of 3:40 riding time, hit a TD + 2 NF and rode out to win 4-3. Keep wrestling and sometimes good things happen.

Good test for Lane right now. Flo has Turner from Oregon State ranked #23. Lane grabs the first takedown and gives up a quick escape. 2-1 early in the first. Lane takes down to start the second and escapes after 21 seconds. Gets taken down and escapes with 5 seconds left. 4-3 into the third. Turner takes down. Quick escapes ties it at 4-4. Heading to sv. Comes up on the short end of a wild scramble and loses 4-6.

He's clearly far better than his brother with lots of fight but needs to get stronger. He'll end up at 149 lbs.

Edmond Ruth goes down 6-1. Undersized for 174 and in very poor condition.

Both Ruth and Logan go down so none left in the upper bracket. Ruth was very undersized against his Rider opponent Sherry who was pretty much pushing him around. Lost a point stalling again. Ruth’s got good stuff, just needs to bulk up some more

Excuse me...I meant Logan and Ruth. Hopefully they can come back in the consolations.

I just saw that bout when perusing the brackets... I wholeheartedly agree.
