Bucknell
Bucknell
match probably not very competitive but maybe some seeding implications, interesting that wrestlestats has Miller over Farro and Lane over Miller, just a prediction for what it's worth
Re: Bucknell
I'd give Lane a chance.
Re: Bucknell
Bucknell as a team intrigues me. Two years ago they were devastated by three injuries to their upperweights. Last year their only two EIWA placewinners were Hartman and Phipps. They're one of a few EIWA teams with some newer guys under everyone's radar, but still pretty good. I don't think they'll challenge Lehigh but I'm interested to see how their individuals do.
At 125 Brandon Seidman, a soph, is battling junior Geo Barzona for the starting job. Barzona's been to EIWAs twice.
Freshman Darren Miller at 133 has 17 Div I wins.
David Campbell moved up to 141 once Miller established himself. He was 8th at EIWAs two years ago despite a 5-22 record.
Junior Matt Kolonia (149) finished last season 15-15, DNP at EIWAs. This year so far he's 15-6, all against Div I.
Freshman Jaden Fisher (157) is 21-16 (37 bouts already!), 17-14 against Div I.
Hartman, who's only a soph, moved up to 165 after the Binghamton tournament. He's 18-4 at the new weight.
Hartman's brother, also named Hartman, is a senior in his first year as a starter. He's 15-7 at 174 against Div I.
Not sure who we'll see at 184. Senior Kyle Inlander is the incumbent, Frankie Guida just moved up from 174.
Drew Phipps is their 197; senior, 24-5 this year, EIWA 6th last year, looking for his first trip to NCAAs.
285 is a question mark. Eric Chakonis was one of their injured a couple of years ago; he was a top 285 recruit but hasn't shown much. Garrett Hoffman was also injured two years ago as a 184-pounder; missed all of last year, now at 285 but has wrestled just one bout. Brandon Stokes has done what he did last year -- moved up late in the season from 184 to 285, 3-3 since then.

Guida was a burly 174 when he beat E. Ruth (5-3) 12 days ago.

Re: Bucknell
Match notes once again list both Farro and Lane at 133 and Pomrinca and Moran at 141. Are these weights still being contested or are the presumed starters (Farro and Pomrinca) with Lane and Moran listed for situational purposes?

The third possibility is that Lomangino enjoys messing with our minds.
I doubt that the staff will ever answer a question on that front other than to say that all weights are always being contested. With those two ... I suspect it wouldn't take much to tilt the scales at either weight. We don't seem to situate much.
