Competition for the post-season spots 133 and 141?

Cornish is game. Just hope he doesn't lay an egg.

**** I wonder if the entries at 133 and 141 will wrestle a full schedule of matches or if Farro and Pomrinca will wrestle just enough matches to qualify for a RPI? Additionally, will Pat be able to set up that they meet in a final wrestle off between (Farro and Lane and Moran and Pomrinca), like Brands did early in the season to determine Iowa's initial starting line up? However, I think Pat already knows who he will submit for the tournaments.
Regardless, I just hope there are not injuries for our guys there.

I suspect both 133 and 141 will be opening round bouts for the 4 Lehigh guys involved. That makes it even and fair. And yes, it will likely settle post season entries....although Walter started over Minotti when he lost a similar type open tournament wrestle-off.

Polito at 141 and Cornish at 174. Must be eating lots of cheesesteaks.

Lane should meet Farro in second round.

Pom could meet Moran in semi's.

133: Farro bye to second round, to face Lane
141: Moran and Pomrinca to (presumably) meet in the semis (both with r16 matches)
174: Ruth and Womack to (presumably) meet in the quarterfinals (both with r16 matches). No Foca
285: Lacombe and Hoffman (tOSU) to meet in quartfinals (both with r16 matches)

Womack is at 174. He draws a bye, then faces teammate Pellumbi who also drew a bye. I smell a fix. If Womack weighs in and accepts a forfeit, then he's eligible for a CP ranking this week. Let's see if he actually wrestles.

Pellumbi last wrestled two years ago at 149.

Most of what was noticed above was intentional (not Lacombe Hoffman or Ruth Womack). I don't know what the plan is for the cornell v cornell match, I guess we'll see. I knew about the lehigh ones yesterday- they're wrestleoffs. A few other things that happen at events like this is making sure certain kids have a good chance at d1s and get a pigtail. At these they are pretty straightforward. Anyone see the last chance Iowa State open? I think JDA mentioned it earlier.
Sheesh!
