So are there any qualifiers that need adopted, like Bob Fehrs?

Or in need of a step father, like Anthony Robles? (considering his mom)

Speaking of Fehrs, Many a time have I been in the Milton Hershey Gymn, the Spartan center, For the first time this year I noticed a photo that is on the wall at Lehigh, the 123 medal ceremony at the 1967 NCAA's

From Lehigh Ticketing

Good Evening NCAA Wrestling Ticket Holders,

As you may be aware, the NCAA President, Mark Emmert, released a statement early this evening stating that the upcoming championships (including NCAA Wrestling) will be conducted "with only essential staff and limited family attendance". Full statement can be found here.

We expect the NCAA will need a plan for ticket reimbursement, however, we do not have any information at this time. We will share more information as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time and know that this statement from the NCAA is the only information we have at this time.

We will reach out with more details when we receive them.

Best Regards,

I think the NCAA is making the right decision. MLB, NBA, many European sports leagues are doing or considering the same. Impacts attendees, but as RIchH says, it is entertainment. I am sure it will disappoint the wrestlers, who get energized from the crowds. Mostly hurts local vendors and businesses that rely on sales from the event.

Many U.S. cities did the same kind of things to combat the 1918 flu epidemic, where an estimated 650,000 U.S. citizens died -- closed schools, businesses, and churches, banned public gatherings, etc. That was before we had vaccines, which we don't have for this virus (as RichH also notes).

We don't need 2-3% death rate or even a tenth of that out of 327 million population. Better to be proactive. That is not being a Snowflake, but a pragmatist.

Speaking of NCAA’s....brackets are out.

Couple head scratchers with the Lehigh seeding but can’t complain too much. Pomrinca has the toughest first round with Lee of Pennsylvania State. I like Humphreys path

An optimistic forecast has a vaccine developed and approved by the end of the year.

Are we going to shut down group gatherings in this country for the next 9 months?

Seeding/brackets look ok. Should get at least 5 through the first round.

Pomrinca wrestles Lee in the First Round. Does anyone remember exactly why Loebeck wrestled Lee in the Dual in lieu of Ryan or Dan?
