Tom Brands must believe there won't be an extra year offered, since he's already pushing the NCAA to officially recognize the top eight seeds at each weight class as all-Americans.

Will bet there are some opinions on this one.

I agree. There will be too many logistical issues with awarding another year, let alone money issues. Sort of like life. Sometimes you get thrown a curveball not expected and get hit in the head. You get up and move on. While certainly disappointment reigns, it is also not life and death. Life will go on. What I see as a bigger problem is next year's academic sports seasons. There is fair probability that this virus will 'calm' down over the summer, but come late September, it will come back. Until we have either built up immunity or gotten vaccines, we may well be dealing with this sucker into 2021.
