Poorly worded.....funny replies.

From Granby HS, coached by Billy Martin. Coach Leeman knew where to look. Pete Blair, NCAA champ from Navy around the same time was also a Granby product.

A decade later Leeman landed Joe Caprio and then Mike Harrison whose uncle Jim was NCAA champ for Pitt.

The Bridge tunnel was not yet built. Very little of the interstate highway system was built. Ike probably took US 17 to US 1 to Pa 100 to US 22 to New St, I will see if I still Have my 1957 US road map around, if we need that verified

Someone else suggested 15. But 15 is a good 50 miles west of Tidewater. if he used 13, like you would now, he must have taken the ferry, The Route I chose was 2 digits US highways which were the primary routes prior to the interstate system. I can't find clear dates on the NE extension of the PA Turnpike, but it does npt seem to have begun construction prior to 1956, Thus i assume IKE went north from Route 1 to LV via Pa 100. I guess there might have been better ways

6. Peter Yozzo

PETER YOZZO was a force.  His combination of speed and power allowed him to defeat or tie 5 National Champions.  A bonus point machine he was a three-time EIWA champ (2x Outstanding Wrestler) and 3x All American (3,2,1).  Probably one of Lehigh's most naturally gifted wrestlers - he was the "must see" guy in the lineup and the reason for many fans to show up for Lehigh matches in the mid 80's.   Many of his bouts were takedown clinics.  He capped his brilliant career with a national title his senior season pinning Pitt's Pat Santoro in the finals - his 100th career victory (1st ever for Lehigh - or so I've been told).

The Wizard of Yoz indeed.
