Maybe he doesn't see himself making the lineup next year....assuming there is one.

That’s a shame. He was on a roll the second half of the year. I thought he had a good shot to AA this past March. He could beat almost anyone when he was wrestling well, and he had started to excel consistently in all 3 positions. Wherever he ends up he’ll have a good year, and I wish him nothing but the best.

Flo now has Chris listed as a graduate transfer (destination unknown). Sorry to see him go, was looking forward to what he could accomplish next year, a fun wrestler to watch. Best of wishes to him where ever he winds up.

>>>>>> Pretty common these days. It may be as simple as wanting a graduate degree Lehigh does not offer. Back in 2004 Scott Moore transferred to UVA for his 5th year....was #1 seed at 141 unbeaten with like 38 falls coming into the nationals. He was upset (by a pretty huge score) by eventual champ Cliff Moore, Iowa and finished 3rd. Since then plenty of guys have taken advantage of the grad transfer option.

There are several tasty morsels on the transfer portal that Lehigh is probably considering.

I enjoyed watching Chris, too, despite the rocky start this season. Wishing him all the best.

On the other hand, as a grad transfer, I suppose if he doesn't find the perfect package, academically and athletically, he could stay. I would imagine entering the portal without a degree is a lot closer to final
