Weiler beat Jacobe Smith (2018 A/A) and Tanner Harvey (2nd team A/A this year) last year.

Re: Chris Weiler transfer?
You thought he'd achieve something (A/A) at Wisconsin that he did not achieve at Lehigh. My apologies if that doesn't mean he would need to improve.jdalu75 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:12 pmWhy are you putting words in my mouth?NothingMeaningful wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:11 pm Why do you think he will improve so much at Wisconsin?

"JAD...", "jda...": my mistake and my apologies. I didn't go back (until now) to confirm that it was you whojdalu75 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:12 pmWhy are you putting words in my mouth?NothingMeaningful wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:11 pm Why do you think he will improve so much at Wisconsin?
initially opined "My money is on him AA’ing next year".
Re: Chris Weiler transfer?
IMO, Chris Weiler was on the verge this year. From January on, he wrestled very solidly. I think most observers believe his loss at Cornell was due to a severe shoulder injury....taking nothing away from Jon Loew. One key win at NCAAs and he's on the podium. So I don't think it's not a stretch at all to say he will push thru at Wisconsin. He has more moves than the average big man. Weiler is a guy who will rise to the level of the competition-- he will have to in the Big 10. The good news is LU probably won't see him.
