They're going 2 and 3 deep at every weight with top 50 talent. Much like Duke hoops Cornell's coach K just rolls out the mats and lets em go. Hell I could coach those guys.

Cornell's administration still has to be on board with waving that many athletes for just one sport around the admissions office.

I'll wager when parents ask Coach Koll if their kid will start he just says "I don't know, no way to tell if he'll be good enough but he'll still be educated at an Ivy league school regardless. Isn't that enough?"

Cornell's administration still has to be on board with waving that many athletes for just one sport around the admissions office.

They already do for hockey. CU basketball is a non-starter. Wrestling is "it" at that school along with LAX.

Didn't Cornell's president come from Iowa? I think the timing of his arrival was around the start off Cornell's resurgence.

I believe they've had two recent presidents with Iowa connections.

Can't hurt. Look what Peter Likins did for our program.
