Real Woods enters transfer portal
Real Woods enters transfer portal
If he wants to stay relatively close to home, then ASU may be his LZ. They have the best room out west. Cal Poly maybe. If he decides to come east maybe Northwestern which closely mirrors Stanford academically and also has a tough conference. I don't see him in the EIWA. Shane Griffith playing it close to the vest for now. I'd venture to say he will come back near home--Rutgers maybe. Cornell has Ramirez--would they recruit over him? Lehigh would make a lot of sense if it's not RU. Maryland maybe a dark horse with the staff......still B1G.

Going straight into MMA and who can blame him? College wrestling is an afterthought.
Re: Real Woods enters transfer portal
Brindley was #58, Merola #28 (both higher than Max Dean, btw). So? It means that Cornell will recruit over anyone if they think it will make the team better.

Points taken about 'recruiting over'.......and there are a few schools who do it routinely. Iowa for one. What Cornell has going for it is an Ivy degree....even if a guy can't become a starter, would he transfer to a lesser school? Matt Greenberg went from Columbia to Cornell. Peppelman came to us after he graduated. IMO, once they enroll, they stay. Makes for a tough room.

True for most. Dalton Macri and Foster Karmon went elsewhere (Karmon to Stanford; wonder if he's looking for a third program?).Oracle wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 5:22 pm Points taken about 'recruiting over'.......and there are a few schools who do it routinely.
