Casale is Intermat's #36 recruit from the class of 2022. 5th at NJ states in 2019, 1st in 2020, both at 220 pounds. Maybe not Moby Dick, but Moby's cousin. In 2019 he was the only 9th grader in the 220 bracket.

Wow...the 2022 Class is already shaping up to be a blockbuster.

Finished 2nd in NJ as a freshman and 1st as a sophomore. He won each of his first 3 bouts in the state tournament by tech fall.

Apparently, tutored by Coop.

Welcome to Lehigh PJ.

We've talked about how recruits like Casale and Crookham are game changers because other recruits will follow them to Lehigh. I'm wondering if some 2021 recruits might commit now, preceding those two to Lehigh. There are still quite a few on Intermat's 2021 top 100 list who are shown as uncommited.

It's a weight needed. Still 3 years until likely in lineup. Only an incoming junior like Crookham. In running for #1 recruiting class.

Now a 197.

I think HFO meant that now we need to recruit a 197.

Lehigh will miss Jordan Wood after he graduates. Most likely will be a 4x Eastern champ and 2x AA. Hoping PJ can be 1/2 as good.

Wood is already a 2x AA.

Road to Four may be a tough one...

What does anyone here, think about Cornell's greyshirt frosh-Lewis Fernandes vs JW?

(Remember Jordan's first EIWA championship over #1 seed Michael Hughes from Hofstra?)

Could be a donnybrook of a match! :)
