Mitch was outside of the 1993-2006 era DRD mentioned. But like i said the list was off the top of my head. Some NJ-NY guys of thay era i did not mention.

Did we have any AA that era outside Nj, Ny, Oh, Pa? There were a couple years when we could have fielded acredible team (maybe mid eiwa equivelant) with 10 guys from 10 states and zero from pa

In 1992 we had Fleckman from Florida and Morris from Virginia. The next time we had A/A's from outside the PA/OH/NJ/NY states was 2011 with Hatchett (FL) and Hamlin (VT). The only other one since then has been Wessell (with two l's!) in 2016.

Just wondering how they classify recruits from Blair. For a long time, it was primarily a finishing school for wrestlers from all around the country.

A good % of them are still Jersey kids, eg, Kutler, Coop, Milonas, etc.

And yes, I realize that those don't all fit into the 1993-2006 timeline, just showing that a good % of Blair kids are actually Jersey boys.

I don't think anyone would classify the Liebermans as anything but from PA, even though they went to Blair.

So Matt ended up with 1 3rd period pin; 1 2nd period pin; 3 ffts?; 52 1st period pins, about 40 in the 1st minute?--????

I wonder how that stands up with anyone else ever???

Brandon Womack had 327 pins in high school (although that started in seventh grade). I'm guessing that a whole lot of them were first period pins. Alabama, but still...

Lewis Fernandes had 37 pins his senior year (out of 38 matches (he was challenged to score lots of points instead of pinning in that other match), 35 in the first period, and 24 in the first minute. His ten matches in the state tournaments (district/region/state) took 9:14 total. That's New Jersey.

That's also heavyweight. (Still very impressive, though.)

And as an undersized heavy, to boot:

"Fernandes only weighed 236 pounds at the state tournament this year. He was 225 last year when he won as the No. 6 seed."
