3. All tentative, no contracts signed at this time and still needs approval by all the committees that make up the EIWA. Spooky Nook is in Manheim, not Lancaster.
Last time I checked, Manheim was in LANCASTER COUNTY.
I think when most people saw EIWA in Lancaster, they assumed Lancaster City, and Then assumed F+M.

Spooky Nook is not oriented for 1000 person crowds in one area. On a typical winter weekend, they may have a dozen or two traveling teams in a limited competition, FH or Soccer or SoftBaseball. The fans there will be parents, grandparents, maybe siblings. so like 100 folks at a time in a "room".

So if the season happens who is broadcasting Lehigh duals. All Flo would be fine with me,

5. That has not yet been determined. What would be the harm in allowing vaccinated fans to attend?
1. Our Governor just eliminated our first match+. No wrestling practice until after 1/4/21.
5. I am scared that some idiot will claim that he was vaccinated and attend.
I hate to say it but ZERO attendance EIWA would be better than nothing. Maybe EIWA could raise some $$$
by having CBSSN broadcast the tournament.
If vaccine becomes available, this fat old fart with high blood pressure will attempt to get it.
Basketball is saying they expect, if nothing else happens, the 4 Leh-Laf games to happen. Zero Fans in the stands. PeSU is still hosting MiSU in football Saturday, 12/12 but with no parents there for senior day.

Lehigh vs. Lafayette is a faux rivalry. Alums younger than 60 don't give a shit.

It will be ironic that had Easterns occurred one week later last March, there likely wouldn't have been one but everyone got to go. This year, fans will miss the entire season in person. Video coverage will be confirmed shortly, as my driving and gas budget continues to be minuscule.

But at least as of this pt in time entering the weekend, the school belief is that there at least may be a season, subject to regular athlete and staff testing. By November there were a stunning number of Div I football cancellations, where health trumped the sacred cow of cash. Tighten your seat belts even while staying home.

P.S. the Governor gave a green light on no-fan Jan. 2 athletic events. Best info I can share.

Actually we are talking about Lehi-Laf Basketball. Everyone should take a minute to look at the schedule. Of course L+L are the two schools were bus trips and no overnite stays make sense

Even with the vaccine, there still might be requirements. First, there won't be universal distribution until late Spring at best. Second, as is now the case, the mere fact you have experienced no symptoms doesn't mean you cannot infect someone else. Hence, the concern over the young kids picking it up and taking it home to parents and grandparents. So even if vaccinated, one might still be capable of carrying the infection to someone else.
