Long Island University will make the trip to Grace Hall this coming Sunday; 1:30 pm start time. Makes sense for both teams; LIU only had one event remaining on their schedule and we've had a couple of cancellations.

It's not shown on either team's website yet but my information comes from a reliable source.

I haven't heard anything about a format, but it would make sense for this to be a No Team Score event. Everyone's still concerned about getting enough bouts for their guys, including those who haven't competed yet. Trying to make the best of a bad situation.

LIU would lose to top high school teams like Bergan Catholic, Blair, Delbarton or Wyoming Seminary.

I can think of several EIWA teams that might lose to the top prep programs; why single out LIU?

The Jets might lose to some college football teams as well.

Funny, a friend of mine is a huge Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan. I asked him if they (when they were the best team in the country) could beat an NBA team, and he just laughed at the absurdity. Every team in the NBA is essentially an all-star college team across multiple years.

Same for the NFL. Each team is bigger, faster, stronger, better trained, and more skilled than any NCAA All-American team. So, no, the Jets would kill any NCAA team.

Why single out LIU? Because Lehigh is wrestling them?
