Re: EIWA
A "public" golf course is open to the public for play, does not mean it is not privately owned.....a private golf course is "members only" for play and can be owned by a corporation, an individual or the members themselves.....
As one of the owners of this particular golf course I can attest to that.......

From golf back to wrestling,
According to the seedings, says Flo, Navy will win with 128 and LU will finish second with 121. Hammerman, according to his seeding, will only score .5 team points. So if he could finish 6th and get 8 team points, that would bring LU up with Navy. Additionally, bonus points aren't factored in. LU is the only team with more than one Number 1 seed; they have four. This could translate to some good bonus pointing early on.

Re: EIWA
Sorry to see Brandon P miss the EIWAs. Along with Wood he has best track record of all the Lehigh wrestlers and he's also fun to watch. I thought he looked good vs the NC guy, who was probably the best wrestler any of the 141s went up against this year. Still optimistic about McGonagle, despite the close but no cigar results this year. Good luck to all the LU wrestlers. Let's hope the unheralded guys like Ammerman take advantage of their opportunities and outperform their seeds.
Re: EIWA
To place in the top 8. Ammerman needs to defeat either the 8th seed, or the 7th seed (assuming that guy loses his first bout to the 2nd seed

How does someone seeded last in his weight class score 0.5 pts? The seed would suggest an 0-2 tourney.whiz wit wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 9:21 am From golf back to wrestling,

Re: EIWA
I wondered that myself. Got the numbers from flo and they're supposed to be the experts. Maybe these days everybody gets at least a half point - kind of like a finisher's medal in a race so that no one's self esteem is diminished too much.lu_alum wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 1:05 pmHow does someone seeded last in his weight class score 0.5 pts? Re: EIWA
Can't happen this year. If you lose in the first round and win your first consi bout, then you've earned 0.5 point and are guaranteed 8th place.

Re: EIWA
Would he then get .5 for the wrestleback plus 1 point for the 8th place finish or 1.5 points?
Re: EIWA
Help me out JDA....I thought that the scoring from 1 to 8 was 16, 12 9, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1. When did it change and what is it now?
