So what does that mean at 184? Ammerman is wrestling for5th/6th, with the lowest he can finish is 6th place and he is a qualifier regardless of what happens. Yes?
If Ammerman places 6th, it depends on who places 7th. If Stillings beats Guida for 7th, he would wrestle Ammerman for TRUE 6th. Theory is... since Stillings didn't have a change to wrestle Ammerman, how can you reasonable allow Ammerman to place above him?

I don't believe Guida can challenge for a TRUE 6th since they already wrestled in the tourney. However, he might be able to make a claim since he won the first bout.

My understanding of TRUE bouts is that Ammerman would retain his 6th place finish in the bracket, but lose his nat'l qualification in the event that Stillings beats him in the TRUE bout.

It's all moot if Ammerman wins his 5/6 bout.

Maybe I dreamt it, but didn't Ammerman beat Stillings?

My bad. Ammerman beat Stillings already. It's a matter of whether Guida can challenge. Perhaps he can, since he won on the top side.

What it means is nothing. The coaches voted not to wrestle to the true places once the NCAA decided not to cut our qualifiers.

Thank you everyone. So it looks as if Ammerman is in. So 10 qualifiers is correct. To completely butcher a Jerry Garcia line - what a short, strange trip it's been.

Seems to be a little discrepancy as to the team scores. An article on flo has it 119.5 for LU, 107.5 for Navy and 105 for Army. Flo Arena has it 137.5 for LU, 116 for Navy, 110.5 for Army. Anybody confident as to the true scores?

Really outstanding hustle. Pat had them ready. Regardless of who's missing, it's been a fun tourney so far. I love that a kid like Ammerman is going to NCAAs.

Bichmeier losing to Doyle and Koser losing to JT Brown sealed Navy's fate. We do have 3 LU-Army finals bouts so better take your Dramamine to prepare for coach Ward.

What's the over/under at 149. I'm taking Hoffmann

Your first set of scores was the score after the semis were completed. The 2nd score listed is the score now (after the last consi round).
