197 | JT Davis vs. Parker McClellan
Davis w/ the TD and riding away...

TD and rideout from Davis who leads 2-0 after one. He takes bottom.

Davis leads 3-0 after two. McClellan takes neutral.

Davis picks up a 5-0 dec. to extend LEHIGH's lead... 31-3

Another side note from CKLV…. Princeton’s Monday beats Nebraska’s Peyton Robb in semi’s 11-6….

Couple dynamite finals later today:

Yianni/Sasso

Griffith/Wick

Looks like Yianni will be only Cornell finalist

Bookend forfeits. Lockhaven actually had 2 heavies that could have gone.

Forfeits are hurting college wrestling…. I know all the reasons why they do it, but not good for the sport….

Lehigh came and did what they needed to do…. Only real hiccup was Hines match which should have never come down to that ending….

Let's make this the last time Lehigh wrestles Lock Haven for at least the next decade. Bush-league to forfeit two weights.

Not a good vote of confidence when you don’t send out either heavy.

And Colby whitehill wws undefeated his last 2 years in HS. His senior year looked like Rodriquez last year.. except for one close bout, wrestling Nate Taylor in the room.was his competition

I remember at the time being puzzled as to how Hines' opponent got all those points early on. I think it was 6-4 after some action at the edge, when it seemed like Hines should have given up 1 point at most. Does anybody remember the exact scoring?

Hines gave up some cheapie TDs vs Oregon State, too, and put himself in a hole that was too deep to get out of. Hopefully he can clean that up and string together some wins to get his ranking up to where it should be by the end of the season.

On the plus side, Manzona looked good in this last two outings and Humphreys looked like Humphreys today.

Agree with all those points, Meyer gas tank was running low today, not sure if something was up today or if it was dealing with longer leveraged opponent….looked good early but there was a point in third period i was worried he was going to get stall called out of match, looked very wobbly at end ….

Never saw that ref before, hopeful to never see him again….. i don’t think he decided any match but i think the fans and the coaches were not thrilled with the job he did….
