The Marauders were traditionally one of the better PSUs around, then fell off, and then started making improvements a few years ago. A couple LV area wrestlers on the team.
I know that Ryan McGuire, who I believe was a State place winner for Notre Dame a few years back was wrestling for Millersville and doing quite well as a frosh and soph in the 133-141 range. He's no longer on the roster and I heard from a very reliable source that others on the team quit as well.

I don't know the Millersville story but in 2019-2020, they had 22 wrestlers on the roster, all but one was either a freshman or sophomore.

Now they have 27 wrestlers on the roster. Three are listed as juniors or redshirt juniors. The rest are freshmen or redshirt freshmen or sophomores.

McGuire still at Millersville graduating this spring according to his LinkedIn.
Mentioned experience with tournaments (apparently was there at EIWAs).
I can't find any negative press about the team and in fact there's an article about them looking good beating Ship.

I don't know anything about the Millersville situation but there are all kinds of reasons why athletes move on. Cary Kolat left Campbell to take the Navy job in 2020. I counted something like 22 Campbell wrestlers in the transfer portal since then, and none of them followed Kolat to Navy. But Campbell was still good enough to beat us a few weeks ago. Obviously, something's still going right in Buies Creek.

I think a lot of the PSAC kids are a little less interested in being in college 4-5 years, unless they become a star. I have felt for a few years they(PSAC) would, in all aspects, be better off, if they also gave associate degrees. I think There are a lot of kids go the four year route, because they are not sure they are done with sports as HS seniors. There is no serious athletics at PIAA Community Colleges

(I guess it is now PASCHE or some sense)

I don't see this kid anywhere in the NCAA OPC for this year. Was listed for 'Ville last year but didn't wrestle at all it appears. So this departure was likely sometime last year.

I care about all wrestling in, and near, Pa

I have friends who wrestled for the Ville.

We all respect the memory of Shorty, don't we?
