Thought he deserved a shout out.
Coaches: Good news, you're making your dual meet debut this weekend. Bad news, against Yianni.

Re: Steven Storm
Discounting Brignola (who's red shirting), wrestlestat has Storm 4th on the depth chart. Assuming Hoffman got (re)injured early on against Bing, since he looked awful in that bout. Watkins comes next. Wondering if Watkins is injured/sick. And, of course, the big question is what's the story on IV, not that I expect to find out.Asa Packer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 12:22 pm Thought he deserved a shout out.

If Mookie were not in that monastery with a vow of silence he would be here saying MB4 is in the portal. It's winter, and we have have a plague. unfortunately guys are going to get sick. (well did Cael ever miss a bout sick?)

At least you threw in a smiley; good job.
I realize social media creates a bizarre sense of entitlement -- but in what previous Universe did wrestling fans ever know the next weekend's line-up until it actually happened? When attendance was at its all-time peak in the '60's, '70's there was zero info until the printed programs at meets -- meets that no alumni except season tix holders could attend. No live TV; local radio only.
Today schools put out advance line-ups online but no more than 1-2 days ahead. Countless "either ors" cloud the truth -- which is how the coaches prefer it. Multiple intros further cloud who's going to wrestle.
Advance information or not -- and it's WAY more info than ever before -- it's frequently last min or last sec. It is what it is. Why all the fuss about this ? Because we can type the words ??

And then, especially in tri-meets with the host team uploading the results, sometimes you don't know who wrestled even after they wrestled.
