He'll be a senior this year and I expect he will move up. I don't care what weight he was at, placing 2,3 in one-class NJ is an outstanding accomplishment. I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss the significance of this signing. Welcome aboard Logan!

BTW, same high school as Ryan Pomrinca
.... and Jack Delia.

Darian Cruz won his junior season PA state title at 106 as I recall......not trying to compare wrestlers just discussing weight similarities........then Cruz won PA at 120 his senior year.....but yes I would say without a large growth spurt Wadle is a career 125 lber, and as has been said they are hard to find.......

Bobby Weaver won his junior year PIAA title at 98. His Sr year he won at 105, but wrestled 98 in the "Dapper Dan".

A 2 or 3 in NJ is outweighed only by a champ in about 10 of the 150 or so state championships. (has anyone an accurate count on them?)

Just to expand a bit, I believe Bobby was the 98# champ in both his sophomore and junior year then as you said moved up to 105 # for his senior year.

Bobby Weaver was a generational talent. I mean the guy went on to win an Olympic Gold medal. Not a fair comparison.

Bobby Weaver was certainly a great talent. IMO, however a comparison may not be valid in that Bobby won his gold medal at 105# when he was 25 YO.

Fun Facts

Sheldon Seymour won his 1st State Championship 1n 2019 at 106#. He won his 2nd one in 2020 at 120#. In that run in 2019, he beat Levi Haines (106#) in the finals (his only loss of the year.). The following year Haines again finished 2nd this time losing to Ryan Crookham. His junior year he won he won at 145#

Haines who is shown to be Penn State's lone recruit, opted out of his senior year of high school. He was 100-5 in his HS career. Lehigh recruits (Seymour 2019 and Crookham twice in 2020) make up 3 of those 5 losses. The other 2 were in his first 3 bouts transitioning up to 126).

Moral: Nobody knows where Wadle will end up. Ask Brad Dillon.

that whiz gaffe just earned him as many Greekers as he can eat next season. Extremely funny 8-)

I never 'worry' about anyone's weight - except mine, now siting perilously North of 200. First, I blamed March shingles (who wants to sweat with those?), now acute bronchitis. The entire onus is mine.

I recall when Beckman finished ahead of Garratt at the Buffalo Open (?) as fellow frosh. I had worried - with good reason - that Nahshon was gaining TOO QUICKLY from his hs sr wt of 112 (greyshirt helped).

So how valid were my hopes Garratt would never be big enough for Div I ? Finished as monster 133.

Heading upstairs for the treadmill. Good luck to Sheldon II. Maybe he'll love bullying the newbie off his new Sept highs of 132-135. Yep, at 5'1" We have no idea what wt or ht Wadle will be whenever the NCAA sez Sheldon's done

Yo Beast ! You've stumped the band on this one:

A 2 or 3 in NJ is outweighed only by a champ in about 10 of the 150 or so state championships. (has anyone an accurate count on them?)

Care to use easier to understand English?

A NJ 2 or 3 is outwrestled only a champ (in placement; the 3 can lose to someone else)
"Outweighed by only a champ" is only known by guys like Gimp who've actually worked NJ States.

This partial excerpt (sorry!) is doubly valid by Spladle, because Cruz -- like Jaret Lane-- didn't really weigh 120 as seniors. They just went to boost their standing and prepare better to compete in Div I (source: them).

My bad for fast reading; that was merely a typical nonsense mookie post corrected by whiz wit.
You're back to two Greekers. 8-)
