A friend spoke with McCoy, who unofficially confirmed Samuelson as an add-1 to Mike Beard. When I think about it, no LU coach or SID is going to post anything online about transfers - none. Standard policy, the one fans here have questioned as a rule (Lehigh still believes it is). Never mind the 3rd transfer now privately discussed since he, too, Tweeted that he's coming. That one I have zero confirmation of, inside or outside feedback. HS Class of '20 -- 0-0 W/L for Lock Haven after PA 1,8 in '18,'19 (161-33; 96 WBF). Trivia question: name that dude.

If he is planning on staying at 125 I'd be transferring away from Anthony Noto also.......believe he lost To West Virginia's Ryan Sullivan 4-3 in PIAA 2018 state finals at 113

Correct. He's also no longer listed on Lock Haven's roster.

For what it's worth, Delaney is the 2nd PA class of 2020 lightweight to transfer out of Lock Haven. Will Betancourt spent a year with the Bald Eagles (2020-21), then went to tOSU for the 2021-22 season, and has now xfer'd to PSU for 2022-23.

Pretty sure Delaney and Betancourt (twitter) were supposed to be roommates at Lockhaven, they sure have bounced around....but that is college wrestling in 2022 with the ole transfer portal.....

Difficult understanding a kid like Betancourt transferring to PSU, he was 15-6 wrestling mostly in opens last year for Ohio State against so/so competition, he lost to Chris Barnabae 7-4 at the Shorty Hitchcock....best win he had was against Wrestlestat #110......he did wrestle 2 duals for Ohio State as a starter and lost by TF 16-0 and lost by major decision 14-5. Ohio State has had a great couple young recruiting classes but not sure what PSU move is going to do......Maybe it just worked out for him best financially transferring to home state school.....
