Becahi hired Mike Cole as its head coach to replace Jeff Karam. Nathan’s father, Scott, had been an assistant on Karam’s staff and had been a candidate for the head coaching spot when Karam left. Hence, the transfer to Sem.

I guess Lehigh is on the wrong side of this little dispute.

>>>>>>>> Seems a little early to be worried about class of ‘25 hs recruits.

Flo currently has Desmond ranked #15 in their top 100 ‘25 recruits, with two 120 lb Jersey boys ( Knox & DeLuca ) ranked higher as well as several 120 lb boys from out west also ranked higher.

There is close to a dozen ultra blue chip lightweights from NJ and Pa in the ‘25 &’26 hs recruiting classes———and Lehigh has successfully recruited Pa/ NJ lightweights in recent years with Crookham, Stanich, Zeigler & Wadle.

Odds are we’ll continue to recruit bluechip lightweights

First of all, it's not too early.
Secondly, Bethlehem Catholic is an important program and we have not been getting their best guys for quite some time. Perhaps Mike Cole coming over from North Hunterdon (which has been good to LU) will change that. We can only hope.
Lastly, keeping D11 talent home should be our #1 priority.

Ayden Smith is a heck of a wrestler, that said I wouldn't call him a major loss going elsewhere.....as a senior he's ranked around 10-13th in the country at 113/114 lbs (depending on ranking service).....he needs to grow to be an effective 125 lb college wrestler (and fill out but that is likely)........

lightweights have not been Lehigh's problem, need to keep the middle weight kids close to home (like Sasso and Labriola, and yes I understand the backstories to both).......
