Maybe the final score was -5, but doesn’t it feel like we won??
Having the most champs (4) and taking 3 out 4 head to head with Cornell in the finals, taking out their NCAA and World champ, winning the pin trophy and the OW. Plus having a freshman set a school record for bonus points.
Sure was quite a statement. Make no mistake, Cornell is very deep and good, but as they say “Lehigh will shine tonight.”
We’re on to Cincinnati, I mean Kansas City!
It sure does feel like we won!
Re: It sure does feel like we won!
You can add Taylor's win over Fernandes in the semi's to make it 4 out of 5 versus Cornell.

It really does feel like we won for all of those reasons.
We’ve talked about the excitement of Crookham’s finals match but Griffin’s 3/4th place match was a real barnburner also. Good to see Griffin with some upper body takedowns in that match in addition to his usual stellar ground game.
It’s a great time to be a Lehigh fan

Nobody chose bottom against Griffin, but in the consolation semifinals Jude Swisher had choice in the 2nd period and deferred. Griffin then chose top; 44 seconds later it was over. So I guess opponents should choose top or neutral if they have choice in the 2nd.
