Soo eloquently stated HFO, but by no-means a recent revelation. DO YOUR BEST has been with us since Mom & Pop sent us on-our-way to school OR onto the playing-field with that same exact admonishment! However, in the military, especially in SPECIAL-OPTS,..to do less than your best might get one killed! :o

Ironic that TEN minutes ago the wife suggested (not nearly as eloquent or as inspirational as HFO) that I tackle some Spring clean-up in the yard, but added the "chaser",..OR ELSE!

Do your best when you have no idea of the metric of evaluation is at a whole another level. Most people slack off!

Soul jig be surprised to see Stanich at 141 next year& bumping Hines out of the lineup. Sheldon gets his 125 spot back.

Griffin holds Dow the 149 spot.

"Do your best".

Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis, Just before he left the bench to become the first commissioner of baseball, sentenced a mobster to 18 years in Prison. The criminal responded, judge, I am 78 years old; I can't do 18 years. To which the Jurist answered briefly, "Well Just do the best you can".

Possible, but fully believe Pat will redshirt him sans injury to Hines. 125 will still have to be won, no guarantee Sheldon wins it.

There will be convergence to 165 from the 149/157 crowd. Either a grad transfer, current wrestlers, or recruit will have to emerge at 174/184. Those will be the interesting talking points for all of next year till EIWA. Same process this year at 149 will be at those weights. It will take time to see who emerges and hold the role of varsity.

You got to think that every 165 to 184 graduating senior with a year of eligibility knows LEHIGH has a need. Have to believe we will land an elite grad transfer.

Next year...changes will be at upper weights
125 Sheldon likely
133 Ryan
141 Malyke
149 Griffin
157 Max
165 Open
174 Open
184 Open
197 Beard
285 Taylor

RE HFO's projected line-up for next season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bailey at 141 if he keeps putting on weight, adding strength and improving. I don't see that Hines has improved much over the years and Bailey looks to me to be more consistent, aggressive and motivated.

I wonder if Hines would be better off packing on a little weight and moving up?

He used to be at 133 and had his best results there as EIWA champ... the crazy part about this team is that next year we will have the following guys for whom 133 is probably the ideal weight: Crookham, Stanich, Bailey, Matty Lopes, McG (theoretically - I know he's done), and Hines.

Seems Possible that Max Finally takes his RS year and Repos covers 157.

I think Hines would have to cut off a leg to make 133 at this point.....

Prime example of why Stanich had to take his shot at 125 this year, once you move up in weights you are not always guaranteed the same success..........not saying he will or he won't but there are no guarantees......what worked for you at one weight won't necessarily at another (i.e. McGonagle).......

I like Bailey at 141 if Crookham doesn't move up (no idea what he will do).......the question is can Bailey beat Hines and would Hines be able to beat Griffin.........Everyone on here seemed to think McGonagle was going to be able to just takes Hines spot at 141, and like I kept saying don't see that happening........
