Hamiti, from Illinois, stays Big 10. Maybe NW or Illinois.

McGonagle -- Rutgers maybe, UNC?

Shawver has another year at RU which I would think would be an issue. Will be interesting to see where McG ends up though. Injury history has to be a factor. Do we know if he has one year left or two?

Don't know interest either way.
These are the good ones at weights Lehigh could use.
Highest ranking in career.
#8 149 Sammy Alvarez by way of Rutgers/Oklahoma State. Has 1 year left. Was an elite coming out of high school. Did well first few years at Rutgers.

#15 157/165 Jason Kraisser Former Rd16. By way of Cambell/Iowa State. Has 1 year left.

#4 165/174 Dean Hamiti 2x All American 81-14 in career. By way of Wisconsin.

#31 184 Brock Delsignore. Still raw. NY 2nd in high school. Slimmed down from 215 to 174/184 for college. Wins over Lawrence and Logan. Best win 11-3 over #5 Bennett Berge, SDSU NCAA 4th. Only losses this year were by injury default and medical forfeit. Won all his matches he completed. Still has 2 years.

Yes, it's him. He was always sort of an enigma. An absolute stud in HS but also the consummate tweener. He did his wresting at 220 but at the time was rumored to go 197 based on the Pan Am games I think. By now, he is too big for 197 and likely too small for 285 but who knows.

Does anyone know exactly how hard we chase transfers. I believe Beard came to us first. I don't remember Samuelson nor Mays showing up on the portal and certainly not in any discussion until they arrived. I always thought that the lure was the academics and wrestling was a means to that end.

Just my opinion.

My recollection is that Tate said he became interested in Lehigh because Zach was the first coach who contacted him.
