Lol, no…… but to me its the move that makes the most sense….although a lot depends on if they think Valencia’s are coaching material in not too distant future…..

Unless Coleman Scott was iron clad promised the job after Smith left I disagree and if he was he will probably get a nice buyout from OK State as part of the Taylor hiring..........also who knows if there wasn't more to his move from NC than just that?......

Who would you hire if you were OK State? Taylor is a no brainer for them, I doubt Smith was against the hire.......

Hard to believe he could train for Paris this summer and prepare for a very successful first year head coaching position this summer.

Am I correct in thinking that if it is neither Brooks or Taylor it should be Valencia

I think it would be Hidlay, he is current 3 spot for USA wrestling team, Valencia is 4.......but who knows, do they have another wrestle off of sorts? Not sure what the rules set in place for replacement are......

I could not find, or remember for sure if they wrestled to a true third, Hidley and Valenica.

Hidley won by injury default. There will be no more matches. If Brooks is ruled ineligible for unannounced use of Adderall then Taylor goes. If he declines it is Hidley. Valencia is not on the team. USA wrestling decided to put this concrete procedure in place to avoid the controversies in the past sometimes legal. What happened at BJC wrong bad call does not matter. That event was the final say. Too much prize money and prestige for Taylor not to go.
