BETHLEHEM, Pa. – No. 6 Lehigh's scheduled dual meet opener against No. 5 Michigan, Friday night in Ann Arbor, Mich., has been postponed to Sunday at 5 p.m. A stronger-than-anticipated winter storm blanketed the Lehigh Valley Thursday with more than half a foot of snow, creating travel issues for the Mountain Hawks.

Michigan trounced Lehigh. A shameful performance really, and with their schedule this will be a long season. So many weak weights and borderline talents.

mookie you are a troll, MI is #5 rated team in country and we were missing numerous starters, the backups did very well, winning one match and losing several by very close scores

Good spin but no I'm not trolling. By any measure it was a very poor performance. Michigan wrestled 3 backups, 149, 157 (backup 149 lbr., 184) and Lehigh being injured is a constant.

149 pounder Amine is a 5th year senior, starter last year, NCAA qualifier, won a match at NCAA.

184 Jelani took over from graduated Abounder, He was 15-2 in his redshriting year.

Only Michigan starter out was Pantelo.

Yep we could have won with this lineup[, but the history of these duals is that the home team wins close bouts

I stand corrected, sorry. That puts a different light on the results.

I thought for the first dual against a top five opponent with limited lineup that we acquitted ourselves well. Half the matches were by 1-2 point differences. As long as the kids are aggressive and looking to score, that's all you can ask. This team may well have a close to .500 dual meet record with our schedule, but it won't mean a thing come March. If we go 9-9, win the EIWA Tournament and finish in the top 10 at NCAA's with 4-5 AA's I will be pleased as punch.
