Bucknell

Mountain Hawks finally return to Grace Hall Friday night against the Bison. Unfortunately, Karam is done for the season, undergoing surgery. So our first three preseason starters at 125, 133, and 141 are all done for the season with two never seeing the mat. Paetzel should be a good replacement for Scotty--not the same, but he has shown flashes of becoming a steady top 15 guy and could develop further. Farro may try and drop, again, to 125. If he can make it, hold it and not lose energy, he could be strong presence in the lineup.

Good news is Humphreys is expected back. His injury at South Beach not as serious as originally feared. The 'Wolfman' well be at 165 for the remainder of the year as Walter is out, again, for the season. After that, our 'murderer's row' showed make most opponents concerned. Still a battle between Jakobsen and Gentile at 197. Competition is good. Cornell match on Saturday is all but a sellout, but tix still available for tomorrow night.

Matches reportedly on PLN. Glad Humphreys back. Not quite over the devastation that injuries have brought to our lightweights. Hoping for a sweep. Rose colored glasses firmly affixed. :D
