Schuyler cliches it in last bout. One heck of an effort by what's left of our squad.

This was a tremendous effort and upset. More importantly, this win was the work of a bunch of unsung heroes. The kids who lost had a huge hand in this win. Fighting valiantly in the face of defeat keeping the loss to a decision and no bonus points or giving up a fall. Also, Jordan Wood showed the heart of a champion, falling behind 1-7 and injuring his knee to pommel Sweaney, 17-12 and came close to a major. Kutler was inflicting pain on #15 Womack. Humphreys was destroying #13 Stroker when Stroker defaulted.
I think a number of the 'back ups' have now realized, they are not just place holders---they are the starters and are starting to embrace the mantel. A lot of work to do, yet, but this team is starting to gel and may still have a run at the EIWA title in it and score a bunch of points at Nationals. Preisch held out for the weekend as a precaution. A lot of tough duals to come. It was great to see a packed Grace Hall roar for the team, especially the huge wins of Wood and Schuyler.

One small correction...that wasn't Womack that Kutler was wrestling. It was Andrew Berreyesa

Lehigh posted clip of Weiler pin (among other clips). A cradle of beauty. Can't believe that can happen in a college match, but Weiler was so quick with it the kid had no idea what happened.

That may be the Bucknell match you are referring to.

Weiller lost to Dean in te Cornell match. Looked like he ran out of gas.

Yes, I was not aware that was not Womack until I read the paper the next day. Our "lovely" and "clear" PA audio system is so pathetic it should be downright embarrassing, the nothing is done.

149-165-174 were all, to me, unclear who was wrestling.

fix the sound system, but also put up video boards like in Stabler. Move the one side of the scoreboard, and put a VIdeo board right there, with maybe another up in the Rafters, maybe above the John Harmon seat.

I remember the old days when the line-ups were posted on the wall where the scoring table now is. It was the very first thing we looked at when we came in. Of course there was a lot more maneuverability back then.
