in case you haven't noticed, the Women's volleyball team is HUGELY successful so far this year.

UNDEFEATED 8-0 having won 24 sets while only losing 3 1

and they are doing it in spite of the loss of All-Patriot league Ana Spangenberg for the season.
Kudos...we will learn a lof more though over the next two days. Radnor and Penn will be big tests.

They sure can and they are fun to watch. The most impressive aspect though may be their ability to turn it up during crunch time. To me, that's coaching.

She certainly has toughened this squad. Loss of Spangen berg could have been very damaging. She got the team beyond it at a very high level.

They will need to be resilient. They still have have Colgate (3-1) and American (3-0) to play in the first time through the league. There is no dominant team this year but everyone can contend. Next up---Lafayette at home. We need to shorten this one. Four 5 set matches in a row.

Megan Polak, our setter for the the last 3 years only played 2 sets against Army and none V Holy Cross. She may be injured too. Freshman, Alina Lam, has played extraordinarily well in her absence but a setter is like a PG in basketball. Sometimes you just feel better with a veteran presence.

Lehigh defeated Lafayette on Friday 3-0 to go to 16-2 overall and 4-1 in the PL. A victory over Bucknell today will put them in a tie for 2nd place with Navy, 1 game behind American.

If you have never been to a volleyball match, they are a lot of fun.
