I don't know if this topic had been discussed in a prior version of this site but recruiting rules have changed in all sports other than Football and basketball. The recruiting process now starts on September 1 of the athlete's junior year. I think every coach I talked to is ecstatic about this rule change. It now mirrors the time frame when students begin investigating schools for academics too.
