Yes... that was the "confusing score" that showed the Neb kid "winning" while Paetzell's's hand was raised, looking much like the winner as I could see.

He has Okla Sooner Moody up next.

Flo's camera ISN'T following the action, as most of the wrestling is on the third of the mat that the camera ISN'T on!
(looks like BP got a 4 pt NF... third pd now.)

Jeezus… Brandon took Moody to the woodshed on this one.
TF 17-2 W/ about 23 sec.s left in the 3rd.

Utah St's Orndorff beat Wood 5-2... didn't Wood dec. him last year? :?

...wrestlingstats says yes... 6-0 at this event.

Paetzell with an outside shot at being an AA. Wins a hammer.

Farro tries hard but limited by his height. Lane is a better choice at this weight.

Pomrinca wrestling reasonably well. Very strong.

Hoffman with the nice upside and always game.

Humphries wins a hammer.

Gallick tries hard but below average athleticism.

Kutler with a good win over Labriola. Wins a hammer.

Weiler with one of his typical showings. Some good, some bad.

Jacobsen clearly can't stay healthy for more than a few matches. Lehigh needs a plan B.

Wood rebounds from a bad loss against Utah Valley.

Team grade: B-

Right now a 15 - 20 team nationally.

Mookalicious I am a little more bullish after today. The Wood lost was the only bump in the road I saw. I really thought Jakobsen did not want to cut Pagano in those last 30 seconds. He was cradle hunting but followed the coaches instructions. Weiler had a great win over ranked Hazel and Paetzell makes an early season statement. Kutler put some early season distance between #3 with a very convincing win. I agree with your assessment of Pomrinca and Hoffman! With the schedule Lehigh wrestles Hoffman has a ton of upside. Even the backups looked great, Ammerman, Resnick and Lacombe. Was curious that Meyer and Gallik did not wrestle. Perhaps things are settled there?
