Pat Santoro Interview

Post by mh1 » Sat Apr 11, 2020 12:42 pm

Nice interview done by Matt Dernlan of Coach Santoro;

Interesting comment during the part about scheduling concerning an old rivalry that may not be on the schedule next year. I thought it might be Pitt at first, but later in the interview he seems to indicate that Pitt is ok. Could it possibly mean no Penn State next year?

We missed Pitt two years ago, but it was a case of the two coaches unable to work out a date.

"Old rivalry." Candidates would seem to be Pitt, Penn State, Cornell, Navy, Penn, maybe Bucknell. Army just got back onto the schedule so I wouldn't think "old rivalry" applies to them; same with Princeton.

Did he happen to mention where McGonagle and Weiler are headed?

Penn, and maybe Princeton would also be an old rivalry

JDA,

Are you saying that McGonagle is also leaving the program?

OK, so you continue to have a hard-on for a post made months ago. Good to hear it is just Fake News.

Incredibly poor form to joke about McGonagle a month after I spoke to him to debunk the stupid original speculation

Do you realize an entire email thread of ten diehards asked this same freakin' question today? "Luckily" i was 1 of them to debunk yet again, as if I have nothing better to do. Do you think fans have the time to sit around online to wait for the punch line? (ok, with the nation grounded even younger fans have the time).

This crap has gotta' stop from Day 1. These are hard-working human representatives of our program at the mercy of 70somethings with nothing better to do.

Agree. I think drd5748 tends to be overprotective, but not sure what the joke here was. Not funny, not even a joke to dredge up month(s) old false rumor.
Oh, well, Happy Easter to all!
